any more. john mccain and lindsey graham because every damn sunday, you turn on the sunday shows. who has their ugly mugs on t.v.? john mccain and lindsey graham on every one of the freakin shows. sometimes more than one. but if they are not on fox, they are on abc. if they are not on ab. c, they are on the "meet the press." if they are not on "meet the press" they are on quite state of the union." they are always dumping on everything obama is doing over and over and over. there are 100 senators. right? alt every sunday do we have to here that idiot lindsey graham from south carolina who has become the biggest scourge of the republican party, the u.s. senate and john mccain who ish something maybe to say 20 years ago but he doesn't have today. it's the same ol' gabble. there they were again yesterday, trotting them out, lindsey graham was on face the nation, and john mccain on fox news sunday. so lindsey graham still doesn't know enough about benghazi and he is not going to let chuck hagel go forward unless we find out some more. >> i don't think

in the middle of his term. remember, he tried, as did a lot of democrats and john mccain to get immigration reform through in 2007. and that's when the backlash grew. and then when the bush administration was deemed a failure, which many of us believed broadly that it was, a lot of conservatives said that's true. and instead of trying to moderate the party then, they said the problem was this compassionate conservative guy was too liberal. so they pulled the party way over to the right. the problem they have now is the tea party folks are the folks who kind of got them there in 2010. and it's as if the republicans are saying well, we needed your votes to drive this car to the country club, but we really don't want to let you inside the country club. so they're courting a kind of class warfare in the republican party over the next couple of years. >> e.j., one of the things i think you have written about more eloquently than anybody else is the idea of -- you've written ambitiously i should say about the idea of civility, that we can have reasonable disagreements about even very profound dif

for john mccain and mitt romney. there's no conservative movement left. i want to say that i am officially done and my two brothers are with their families with republicans. i guess i call myself a man without a party. marco rubio will give the response in spanish and english. this is just -- it started with karl rove, the architect, that little nerd -- if i see him one more time on tv -- is the architect of the destruction of the gop. he gave us obama. the idea of reaching out and becoming democrats. what democrats aren't are people who believe in a group identity and hyphenated americanism. we conservatives believe in assimilation. that's why he's not going to give a response in german or italian. we will hear all the lofty platitudes and trite things from obama about a nation of immigrants. it was a somewhat perverse people being melted down by the fires of assimilation and being made similar -- it was a people meltedrdiverse down by the fires of assimilation. nobody would know marco rubio. he looks like the beaver. i will not follow him because he is a trendy minority. having to reach
